Ruff Rollin Photos: "Fio" recently passed

Fio recently passed from health complications due to his disability. He was in a Ruff Rollin’ Wheelchair for seven months. Just prior to his passing, Fio was named “Mayor of the Dog Park” for raising the most donations.

“Thank you so much for giving Fio many more months of playing, running, hiking, and walking. In the last few weeks, the only time he really lit up was when he was in his Ruff Rollin’ chair. Your constant attention to fit and timeliness meant so much to me.

Thanks for helping Fio and for helping me,”

“WOO-HOO! Our sweet Danny just had his first walk around the neighborhood in over a year! It was so amazing to see him out in the world sniffing at the bushes and doing what dogs do. We couldn’t be happier for him and for us. It is so wonderful to have our dog back to enjoying life to the fullest. He seems to have a look of such happiness on his face and pride in his accomplishment of walking again. He has regained his dignity and independence, this is no small thing for a proud German Shepherd. Thank you so much for all that you do for dogs and their families. Danny will be tired out and have happy dog dreams tonight. We can’t wait to try again tomorrow.

“Hi! My name is “Chamberlin” I was forgotten in an overgrown yard and found while it was being mowed! There was no food, water or shelter for me as I waited for almost 2 months…I was finally found extremely weak, emaciated and my front legs do not function properly, but I’ve found hope because of the wonderful and caring people who saved me at The Guilford County Animal Shelter through “Susie’s Fund” and I’ve begun on the long road to recovery, someday I will be better, but without you all I wouldn’t have made it this far!”
