Measure Your Dog
To make the online ordering process easier for you, we now only require that you submit the four main measurements needed for us to start planning the design of your custom dog wheelchair. Once your order is complete, we will walk you step by step through the process of collecting the remaining measurements needed to custom fit the wheelchair to your dog’s specific needs.

Here Are A Few Suggestions For Taking Accurate Measurements
- If you can, find someone to help you. This person can help support the dog in a standing position while you measure. Please take measurements very carefully! This is a custom-built product requiring your time and your money. For tiny breeds, you’ll only get a little bit of adjustment, so measurements need to be within 1/2″ and as accurate as possible. Hiring a professional does not imply accurate measurements. Always double-check.
- Although taking the measurements while standing is preferred, if you can’t find someone to help you, then you can take the measurements with your dog laying down.
- A metal tape measure like the one in the pictures works great for height, length, and width measurements.
- Use a soft tape for the girth measurements.
- For measurement #3, a more accurate measurement can be taken if you place two flat items on either side of your dog’s hips or shoulders, and measure the distance straight across.
- Again, double-check your measurements.
Our Simple 4-Step Measurement Process
1. Height (top of back to floor)
2. Length (mid-point of shoulders to mid-point of hips)
3. Width (straight across body at widest point)
4. Girth (circumference around the chest)
