The term ‘dog cart’ is another name for dog wheelchair and we use them interchangeably. A dog cart, or doggie wheelchair can be extremely helpful for dogs suffering from a variety of congenital defects, amputations, and chronic conditions such as hip dysplasia, spinal fractures, cruciate ligament injuries, Degenerative Myelopathy, Wobblers Syndrome, or while recovering from a surgery.
While traditional one-size-fits-all type dog carts are available and can fit some sizes of disabled dogs, most of these adjustable styles are just not adjustable enough to fit dogs with the most common disabilities, deformities, or amputations. We at Ruff Rollin’ have designed all types of custom-made wheelchairs to fit almost any size and shape of dog, as well as making the best fit for dogs with severe disabilities and loss of mobility. And our designs are durable to stand the test of time and wear and tear.
Imagine how you might feel seeing your dog back in action playing in the yard or rollin’ down the driveway with neighborhood play pals. Nothing would please us more than to be able to help you and your furry friend regain mobility and enjoy life to the fullest. Every animal is different. Every disability is unique in how it affects each pet. That’s why we custom craft every disabled dog cart we make.
